A Pretty in Pink Bridal Shower

This past weekend, I was thrown the most beautiful and amazing

bridal shower!

It was everything I have ever imagined and more. The theme was “Pretty in Pink” and everyone had to wear their prettiest pink outfit. Noelle Smith{Matron of Honor} and Megan Fenton{Bridesmaid} hosted and seriously knocked it out of the park. Everyone loved the cute decor and the food was to die for (thank you Sharon Fenton)!

I went with a strapless satin Kate Spade gown in a hot pink and wore a flower crown made of gerbera daisies, fuji mums, and baby’s breath. I make flower crowns, so this was SO fun to do! Flowers were from Norfolk Wholesale Flowers. I had on a pair of sparkly Vince Camuto pumps to top it off. It’s very traditional to wear a white dress to your bridal shower, but I’m not a traditional bride- so I broke the rules to wear this gorgeous dress.

The decor was absolutely adorable– from the wrapping paper photobooth, MRS balloons, pictures of me and Zack and basically pink EVERYWHERE- I was blown away.

We  had a

flower crown bar

filled with dozens and dozens are real flowers and greenery. There were also directions so anyone- no matter what level of skill- could make a beautiful crown! It was a huge hit and so amazing to see everyone adorned with beautiful flowers. I, being a flower child myself was  living in a DREAM that day.

Flower crowns make everything better.

Let’s not forget the popular

DIY photobooth

that was a BLAST. So many frame worthy photos were taken and the props were just as good. Everyone loved it.

The greatest gift was of course having so many ladies there that I love and adore- who support me through everything- and will allow me to be myself. They also are extremely generous. Zack and I received so many amazing gifts. I couldn’t ever thank them enough- but I will with my hand designed stationary (wink wink).

At the end, Zack made a guest appearance. I think he was a little overwhelmed by the amount of pink, the amount of girls, and the amount of flowers.

But, he was such a trooper.

Check out those hand made letters- Noelle knows us too well. I loved coming home and reading the words of advice on the Jenga pieces and rereading the cards I received. I’m a super emotional person and I value these little things so much.

Much love to the special ladies who make my life FULL.
