Southern California: Fall Style ft. Clothe + Arrow

If there’s one thing I have noticed so far, it’s that California does not follow the rule of seasons. It’s November here, which means 70s/80s during the day, with cool mornings and nights. Of course, there’s no humidity- just dry air. It’s perfect.

Think less colorful trees, and just more cactus and succulents. After living in Virginia for 12 years, my sinuses and wardrobe are featuring a culture shock, but I’m totally embracing it. I teamed up with a new shop that opened in Oceanside, California to spotlight some REALLY awesome women who are bringing a collective vibe to the shopping experience, and encourage women to support each other. What could be better?

Meet Clothe + Arrow, All Ye Citizens and Furrow Floral. I went to their soft opening this past week and it was A DREAM. This shop is just full of whimsy and these ladies exuberate and a create an authentic experience.

You can visit their shop at 1817 S. Coast Hwy, Oceanside, California

UM HELLO. I know where I’m getting flowers for my next flower crown. I’m also thinking of doing a how-to flower crown DIY video. Would anyone be interested in that?

I had major heart eyes as I walked through the store. They also had yummy cookies out and that was a major win.  All Ye Citizens had some cool macrame pieces, coffee mugs and a million other cute things that you don’t even know you need.

I already have a cool piece from All Ye Citizens up in my office and it brings such a great vibe to the space. I teamed up with Clothe + Arrow to create a mini SoCal Fall lookbook out of just two key pieces: The Arrowhead Sweater, and the Desert Eagle Slouchy Tank (which is sold out, but they have others similar like the Collaborate Tee).

Shorts: One Teaspoon

Boots: Target

Bathing suit: Boys and Arrows (The Birds of Prey print is sold out but the Shark Attack piece is my next pick)

Can we just talk about these tassels? And lets take a moment of silence for the sunspot Zack caught on camera.

“They call me the breeze…”

I really love the short sleeves on this sweater. It makes it extremely versatile.

Though I’m not used to prancing around in bathing suits in the fall, I don’t think I’m going to be complaining anytime soon.

I hope you all enjoyed this little slice of style. What great is that these aren’t just clothes and things. These shops represent women coming together to support each other’s dreams and aspirations. I hope it’s a great reminder for you to always lift others up and never put them down.

xoxo

Ashley
